Thanks, Mia. The Monterey race sounds like fun fun fun! I'm sure mine will be, too. Thanks for your words of encouragement. I do think I'm doing pretty good, physically and mentally, and notes like yours help me keep it up! Glad to read your recent posts, as you sound very happy!

Hi Pamela! I got your email and I've been meaning to get back to you, but was SWAMPED for a couple of weeks there. I would have loved to do the reservoir, but E and I are headed down to Monterey to do the Big Sur 5k with my cousins that very weekend. It's a total long shot that we would be doing something this planned that couldn't be rescheduled, but that's just my luck!

There is something wrong with my bloglines, you weren't showing as updating. So I've had to go back and read your adventures in delivered food. I think it's a fantastic plan. You liked jfc, that planned portion of it anyway, so it seems like a good fit.

As for convincing yourself that you're "incompetent" or "incapable" of preparing healthy food, I am going to very gently slap your hands and remind you that you a) work full time with an infant son and b) have been actively a single parent while M is out of the state and c) need to remember that the other option for crazed working mommies is take out, so give yourself a break, congratulate yourself for making healthy choices by having the service in the first place, and keep on running! We're right around the same pace and I see great things for our future. :)
