You know those size 18

You know those size 18 pants from Old Navy I wrote about before? Well I an wearing a pair today and they feel quite loose – except in the thighs. Anyway it is a good feeling in some ways to be able to wear something that seemed so tight before. However I stepped on the scale this morning to find the number above 200 after a couple of days below (I am talking sans clothes here.). Perhaps this is an example of why you shouldnt weigh in between meetings or maybe it is a wake up call to tell me I need to do better. I am just going to stay the course though and see how the week shakes out. I still feel better just for eating better but more fruits and veggies are probably in order.

Yay for loose pants! And, from one sister to another, why can’t they just make pants a little roomier in the leg? Old Navy is always on my list, personally, for manufacturing low-rise pants. I’m not 15, people.

Anyway, the scale is a tricky beast. If you’re happy with your food choices and exercises, I would say ignore the scale. If you think you could do better, that’s probably what the scale is reflecting too. See? It’s tricky!

Thx for the encouragement, Mia. I know I need to do more veggies and fruits so I’ll just look at this as a push to do that. I also do need to start exercising though I have no idea when I’ll get it done. As for Old Navy… they always seem to fit a little funny but always better when I’m fitter…
