I’m back

Yes, I’m back. Sort of. This weekend, probably due to the amazing weather we’re having, I felt this inexplicable urge to exercise. (OK, so I didn’t actually exercise — the tires on my bike are all messed up and then I noticed I was exhausted from lack of sleep.) Then I noticed this morning that I’ve lost a few more pounds post-pregnancy (without trying, really.) I could even wear my wedding/engagement rings and my watch today. So I figure these are signs that I might actually be ready to do something about my weight/fitness situation. Pretty exciting, eh? Given all of the pressures on me right now (work, mothering, etc.), I’m not going to join WW or do anything particularly organized. I’m just going to make better choices in a few different areas. Mostly, in the area of portion control. Then we’ll see what happens.
